Tõuksimaailm offers electric scooter rental service without a distance based fee. Our focus is on long term rent, from several hours to a month or longer. As a matter of fact, it is cheaper and more convenient to rent an electric scooter for longer term. You can take our rental electric scooter to anywhere in Estonia, out of the city. If you are planning to go on a vacation outside of Estonia and want to bring a rental light electric vehicle with you – let us know and we provide all the information that you need. Renting an electric scooter is also an ideal transportation solution for corporate events or creative work (filming etc.)

What kind of electric scooters do we have available?
These specific rental electric scooter models were chosen to give our customer the most reliable, comfortable and fun ride. Choose your PEV from popular high end brands like Inokim, Segway Ninebot and Xiaomi Mi. With every electric scooter comes a battery charger which is needed if you are planning a longer adventure. Our rental electric scooters are equipped with easy to use coded bicycle locks so that you do not need to worry about somebody stealing the vehicle.
The core of our rental fleet is the popular and reliable Segway Ninebot Max G30 electric scooter. It is our main rental electric scooter and we are able to rent more than 10 of these. Other brands like Inokim we have smaller numbers (below 5 electric scooters available). Contact us if you need to rent several electric scooters for your project or trip.

In respect to change made in Traffic Law, which was accepted by the Estonian parliament on 28th of October 2020, we do not rent electric scooters that have a maximum speed of higher than 25km/h and motor power over 1000W since 1st of January 2021. Top speed of all the scooters that we give out to rent are 25km/h and the motor power is below 1000W.
NB! The maximum distance that you can ride with one charge varies. Rider’s weight is the biggest factor, but also weather, riding style and trail affect the distance that you get from one charge. We have calculated the estimated range for a 70kg rider with smooth riding style.

While we service your own personal electric scooter at our workshop, you are able to rent a Segway Ninebot Max G30 electric scooter for 5€ a day.

Terms & agreements for renting an electric scooter
- The electric scooter itself, charger and other accessories must be returned in the same condition as it was at the start of the renting period.
- Any damages made during the renting period must be paid by a renter.
- If the device is stolen or lost, the renter must pay for the device. The price of the device is equal to the current retail price.
- If the renting period has ended and the device is returned in the same condition as it was before renting, then the deposited amount is refunded fully in the same form as it was given (cash or bank wire transfer).
- To rent an electric scooter from us the renter must have an Estonian ID-card, passport or residence permit.
- To start renting, the renter must make a security deposit a minimum of 100€. The security deposit is returned after the end of the renting period.
- If the electric scooter is not returned on the day which is marked in the contract, the renter must pay penalty. The penalty is 50€ per day for one electric scooter.
- To extend the rental period, the renter must physically come to Tööstuse 47A with the electric scooter and pay upfront for the extended renting period. Electric scooter rent is continued after new contract with new extended renting period is signed.
- Light electric vehicle renter agrees to use the scooter in a good manner and that in case of any incident, damage, or theft, the company must be notified.
Light electric vehicle renter agrees that rented property is used prudently and in accordance to Traffic Act. Riders who are younger than 16 years must wear a protective helmet.

Theft protection – Why we rent to? – GPS tracking system
Renting electric scooters is a serious responsibility and comes with a promissory note. That is why it is mandatory for us to perform an identity check on the renter. To verify your identity, visit our shop and bring your identity card, passport, or residence permit. The process takes about 5 minutes.
Am I able to rent an electric scooter? Most likely yes, but here are some things that may prohibit you to rent an electric scooter from us:
- In a past, you have been convicted of a crime (of any type)
- You do not have valid documents to prove your identity (Estonian ID-card, passport, driving license or residence permit)
- You do not a have place of residence in Estonia
- If you have filed for individual bankruptcy
- If you are under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs
- If you bargain on the price of the security deposit
- Ask questions like “what happens if I am not able to return the electric scooter on the return date?” etc.
- If you have had issues with returning the Tõuksimaailm property in the past
Tõuksimaailm has the right not to give any explanation why the identity check was unsuccessful.
If you are not able to pass the identity check, then renting an electric scooter from us is still possible. However, in that case the security deposit required for renting an electric scooter is equal to the retail price of the electric scooter.
Other special terms
A private person is able to rent a maximum of two electric scooters at a time. If you want to rent more than two electric scooters per person, the additional deposit must be paid. The amount of additional deposit is calculated during the identity check.
The rental service provided by Tõuksimaailm is available only in Estonia. On special occasions (with additional security deposit), it is possible to use a rental electric scooter outside of Estonia.
Companies registered in Estonia, with a clean history and excellent payment behavior, can rent electric scooters without a deposit.
The renter reckons that all rental electric scooters are equipped with GPS tracking system, which is engineered to automatically cut the power & block the spinning of the wheels. This system activates after the renting period is ended and the electric scooter is not returned to the shop located in Tööstuse 47A, Tallinn. Activation of the system does not depend on the state of the GPS device or wireless signal. If the system is activated, the electric scooter starts beeping and will not be drivable. This system is designed in a way that prevents a renter to be able to sell or salvage the electric scooter on his own. When trying to remove the system from electric scooter the secondary safety system turns on. This switch is for secondary safety and makes electric scooter useless by making a short in the internal electronics, which makes the electric scooter battery unusable. In addition to that, the system will send an emergency message through GPS. If the secondary system is activated, the components that are shorted during the activation must be changed. The cost of changing the components and the components itself are equal to the price of the rented electric scooter battery. This price must be paid by the renter. (For example Ninebot Max G30 battery – 399€)
