VSETT 10+ ELECTRIC SCOOTER – PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The VSETT 10+ electric scooter represents the pinnacle of technology and is developed as a successor to the highly popular T10-DDM frame electric scooters (such as the Zero 10X, Techlife X7, Gpad Storm, Cityway X Pro, and others). Compared to its predecessors, the electric scooter is more high-quality, durable, capable, faster, and user-friendly in every aspect. Despite a more durable construction and a larger battery than competing scooters, the Vsett 10+ also boasts the best acceleration and top speed in its weight class.
For the first time in this weight and price category of electric scooters, the 10+ model also includes an IP54 water resistance rating, which is extremely important in the Estonian climate. The electric scooter is available in three different battery capacities – 20.8Ah, 25.6Ah, and 28Ah. The larger, 28Ah battery version is often referred to as the Vsett 10+R. The Vsett 10+ electric scooter, with its aggressive appearance and yellow-black color combination, resembles a wasp ready to strike at its opponents. This appearance is quite fitting as the scooter includes a “Sport” mode, which provides a sudden power surge, allowing it to unexpectedly out-accelerate most heavy-duty electric scooters with 11″ wheels. The electric scooter has two motors, each with a nominal power of 500W (peak power of 1000W), giving a total power of 1000W (or 1kW) and a speed of 25km/h. The range is up to 130km when riding in the most economical Eco mode with a 75kg rider.
VSETT 10+ ELECTRIC SCOOTER – THE RESULT OF LONG DEVELOPMENT WORK
Ningbo Vsett Intelligent Technology, founded in 2018, is a development company with the goal of creating and producing a series of electric scooters that uncompromisingly surpass everything previously available in every aspect. The Vsett 10+ is the flagship model of this series, often outperforming even its larger sibling, the Vsett 11+ electric scooter, in terms of performance. During its development, many technical solutions were patented, for instance, Vsett electric scooters are equipped with a revolutionary folding mechanism that is easily adjustable and eliminates the slack and clicks caused by material fatigue found in previous generations of electric scooters. The Vsett 10+R electric scooter is revolutionary in the scooter world not only for its unmatched performance and folding clamp solution but also for many other features.
The updated OLED-based QS-S4 display is more user-friendly than all previous versions. It displays information about speed, riding mode, battery charge level, and distance traveled. Additionally, the smart display allows for the adjustment of cruise control and the intensity of electric braking (motor braking). Security has also been taken to the next level – the electric scooter can be “started” with a wireless NFC card. Furthermore, the NFC code can be copied to a smartwatch or smartphone, allowing the electric scooter to be unlocked with these devices.
ADJUSTABLE SUSPENSION
The Vsett 10+ and Vsett 10+R electric scooters are equipped with front and rear hybrid adjustable hydraulic spring shock absorbers. This technology allows for combining the best features of spring and hydraulic dampers, and the suspension can be adjusted from very soft and bouncy to extremely stiff and stable, or anywhere in between. For the first time in the history of electric scooters, standard-sized 165mm shock absorbers are used, allowing enthusiasts to swap out the shocks to suit their taste.
The frame of the electric scooter is made from aviation-grade aluminum. The charging ports are (similar to Inokim models) placed on the front of the scooter’s deck, not on the side of the frame as is common with most electric scooters. This placement helps ensure better water resistance and minimizes the risk of damaging the charging ports during maneuvering. Vsett’s handlebar rotation lock is also the most robust and visually correct solution seen in the scooter world so far, positioned at the front of the scooter. The sturdy construction ensures good stability and excellent control over the scooter at any speed. Powerful 10″ wheel-embedded electric motors provide strong acceleration, and the scooter quickly reaches the manufacturer’s speed of 25 km/h, even when carrying heavier loads or climbing slopes up to 45 degrees!
When used off-road, the electric scooter can achieve speeds up to 25 km/h with modified tuning. In off-road mode, the most impressive feature is the electric scooter’s acceleration. The manufacturer’s maximum allowed rider weight is 130 kg. The high motor power also means that the scooter does not struggle to maintain speed in difficult terrains, steep mountain slopes, or in deep snow.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION
With a smooth riding style, a speed of 25 km/h, and a rider weighing 70 kg, under ideal conditions, the Vsett 10+ can cover up to 130 km on a single charge. However, as is typical with electric scooters, the actual driving range for an average rider is more likely to be around 60-80 km. The Vsett 10+ is equipped with front and rear hydraulic disc brakes from Zoom, Vsett, or Nutt brand with 140mm rotors, which offer much better braking feel and more effective braking performance compared to mechanical disc brakes on electric scooters. The 10+ electric scooter also has motor braking (electric brake), which can be adjusted according to the rider’s preferences.
The electric scooter is equipped with a high-capacity battery made from high-quality LG lithium-ion (Li-Ion) modules, available in sizes of 60V/20800mAh (1280Wh), 60V/25600mAh (1536Wh), or 60V/28000mAh (1680Wh). Using two chargers, the battery can be fully charged from 0-100% in just 7 hours. With one charger, this time is somewhat longer, at 14 hours. For visibility during darker times and to make oneself more visible to other road users, the electric scooter has both a front LED light mounted on the mudguard and rear LED lights. The scooter also features rear turn signals, which can be switched on and off via switches hidden in the scooter’s handle grips.
The Vsett 10+ electric scooter is street-legal according to Estonian traffic law, with a manufacturer’s power of 1000W and a manufacturer’s speed of 25 km/h, as certified by the factory certificate provided below. Please note that the certificate does not exempt you from legal penalties, fines, or the potential confiscation of the electric scooter by the police if the scooter has been modified by the user to develop higher power or top speed!
