VSETT 11+ ELECTRIC SCOOTER – PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The VSETT 11+ electric scooter is Vsett’s flagship model, the most powerful electric scooter, and larger and more powerful than the popular Vsett 10+. While the 10+ electric scooter is an evolution of the popular T10-DDM electric scooter (Zero 10X, Techlife X7, Gpad Storm, and others), the Vsett 11+ with 11-inch tires is intended as a successor to the Zero 11X / Techlife X9 electric scooter. Compared to the previous generation, the electric scooter is stronger in every aspect. It is also more moisture-resistant, durable, powerful, faster, and user-friendly.
A significant upgrade is the IP54 waterproof rating, which is extremely important in Estonia’s climate. The Vsett 11+ electric scooter in the Tõuksimaailm selection comes equipped with a 60V/31.2Ah (1872Wh) Li-Ion battery. The Vsett 11+ has an exceptionally striking appearance. So much so, that its look can be described as “controversial”. Typically, the appearance of the Vsett 11+ and its red-white-blue color combination (reminiscent of Captain America or Transformers) either is loved or disliked intensely. This appearance is quite fitting as the electric scooter is equipped with a “Sport” mode, which provides an instant power boost, allowing it to unexpectedly out-accelerate most heavyweight electric scooters with 11″ wheels like the Kaabo Wolf Warrior 11 and Nanrobot LS7+.
The electric scooter has two motors each with a nominal power of 500W (peak power of 500W), giving it a total power of 1000W (or 1kW) and a speed of up to 25 km/h. On the most economical Eco mode, a 75 kg rider can travel up to 160 km when riding calmly. However, in real-world conditions at an optimal speed in urban environments, the electric scooter is more likely to cover 75-90 km.
VSETT 11+ ELECTRIC SCOOTER – TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
Ningbo Vsett Intelligent Technology is a relatively young development and manufacturing company that started in 2018. Its goal has been to develop and produce a series of electric scooters that are uncompromisingly superior in every aspect compared to all previous models.
The Vsett 11+ electric scooter is the flagship model of this series and the most powerful version. The development process has also resulted in many patented technical solutions. For example, the new OLED technology QS-S4 screen is more user-friendly than previous versions. The screen displays information on riding speed, mode selection, battery voltage and charge level, and total distance traveled. Additionally, the display allows for the adjustment of cruise control and electric braking.
Theft prevention solutions are also on a new level – the electric scooter can be activated with a chip inside a wireless NFC card. Furthermore, this process can be made even more convenient by saving the NFC code in your smartphone or smartwatch. This allows the scooter to be “unlocked” with your smart device, eliminating the need to carry the chip. One of the first noticeable features of the Vsett 11+ electric scooter is the massive front dual-tube hydraulic shock absorber. This shock provides seriously good stability and safety at higher speeds, similar to the Kaabo Wolf series electric scooters. This may be considered one of the biggest advantages of the scooter over its smaller sibling, the 10+, which often requires a steering shock absorber to achieve the same level of stability.
The rear wheel of the Vsett 11+ is fitted with two standard-sized 165mm hydraulic shocks, ensuring the best stability and riding comfort, similar to the front. All Vsett electric scooter frames are made from aerospace-grade aluminum. The charging ports (similar to the Inokim OX models) are positioned at the front of the scooter’s deck, not on the side of the frame like on other electric scooters. This helps ensure better waterproofing and eliminates the possibility of damaging the charging ports.
PERFORMANCE
Very powerful 0.5kW electric motors embedded in 11″ wheels ensure strong acceleration, and the electric scooter quickly reaches the manufacturer’s speed of 25 km/h (almost instantly), even while carrying heavier loads or climbing slopes up to 45 degrees! When used off-road in off-road conditions, the electric scooter can achieve speeds up to 25 km/h. Also impressive is the manufacturer’s maximum allowed rider weight of 150 kg. This means that a larger and heavier rider can also bring a significant amount of additional items in a backpack or handlebar bag.
The high power of the motors and all-wheel drive also means that the electric scooter does not struggle to maintain speed on more challenging terrains, steep hills, or even in deep snow. The Vsett 11+ has front and rear hydraulic disc brakes with 160mm rotors, which provide a much better braking feel and more effective braking performance compared to mechanical disc brakes on other electric scooters. The electric scooter is equipped with a high-capacity 60V/31200mAh (1872Wh) battery. Using two chargers, it only takes 8 hours to fully charge the battery (0-100%). With one charger (included with the scooter), the charging time is somewhat longer – 14 hours.
SAFETY WHEN RIDING ELECTRIC SCOOTER
The Vsett 11+ LED front light is among the best in the scooter world, possibly only rivaled by the front light of the Nami Burn-E electric scooter. Like all scooters in the series, the Vsett 11+ is equipped with rear turn signals. A seriously loud electric motorcycle horn, which requires responsible usage in urban environments, is installed between the fork of the shock absorbers. It should ideally be used to alert drivers and notify pedestrians of your approach more subtly, perhaps with the low rumble of the scooter’s motors. This powerful electric scooter is a potentially dangerous vehicle, and we always recommend wearing a helmet while riding. It is also advisable to wear protective clothing against falls, such as pants and jackets with integrated armor (motorcycle gear). For riders under 16, wearing a helmet is legally mandatory while riding an electric scooter. All Vsett electric scooters can be found here.
The Vsett 11+ electric scooter is legally a street-legal light vehicle in Estonia, with a manufacturer’s power of 1000W and a manufacturer’s speed of 25 km/h, as verified by the factory certificate provided below. Note! The certificate does not exempt from fines or police confiscation of the electric scooter in cases where the scooter has been modified by the user to develop higher power or top speed!
