Segway Ninebot ES extra battery for electric scooter (also external battery, battery, battery pack), rated voltage 36VDC (fully charged 42VDC), capacity 5200mAh / 187Wh. It is an original Segway battery with high quality and durable battery elements. The high quality and waterproof Segway Ninebot ES extra battery is suitable for the original Segway electric scooter Ninebot ES2 and Ninebot ES4. The battery is also suitable for the less common Ninebot ES1 and ES3 electric scooters. The battery will also work with the Segway Ninebot E25E electric scooter.
No software/firmware change is required when installing the battery - it will start working immediately without any problems. The BMS software of the battery is perfectly compatible with the original Ninebot electric scooter controller, which in short means that the installation of the battery will significantly increase the acceleration of the electric scooter as well as the top speed by about 5km/h. The installation of the BMS software will not require any firmware or software update . The external battery also doubles the distance that the electric scooter can travel on a single charge. The battery of an electric scooter also needs to be replaced if the capacity of the battery modules has fallen below the acceptable limit for the owner, either due to very high mileage or even misuse of the electric scooter, i.e. the distance covered on a single charge is no longer sufficient for the owner of the electric scooter.
