Xiaomi hydraulic brake Xtech (also hydraulic brake support, oil brake). The kit includes a red brake support, a 120mm brake chain with mounting screws and a funnel mounting base / transition. The kit also includes all the screws / bolts needed for brake installation. The Xiaomi Hydraulic Brake Xtech is suitable for the popular electric scooter Xiaomi Mi M365, Xiaomi Mi M365 Pro, Xiaomi Mi Pro 2, Xiaomi Mi 1S models and most Xiaomi clones / copies (Macwheel, Sermangreen, Citiway, E-Wheels E2S V2, Xiaomi Essential and many others).
Inside the Xtech brake hose there is a hydraulic cylinder that can be pulled by a brake cable (similar to a mechanical disc brake). When pulled, the hydraulic fluid inside the brake funnel causes the cylinder to actuate the brake pads, which press the brake pads evenly against the 120mm brake chain. This is the advantage of the Xtech brake over the original Xiaomi brake - both brake pads wear evenly (no need to replace the kit when one pad is worn out and the other still has plenty of material) and the brake chain does not have to bend (if adjusted correctly) to reach the other pad. The Xtech brake pads also have a much larger contact surface compared to the original Xiaomi pads - the brake pads wear more slowly and provide much better braking performance. Driving with hydraulic brakes, among other benefits, the brake feel is significantly better than with mechanical brakes.
