Ninebot Max controller (also brain, motherboard, control module), original spare part. The original Ninebot Max controller fits perfectly to the original Segway electric scooter Ninebot Max G30 and Ninebot Max G30LE. The controller is also suitable for the original Ninebot Max G30P models, which are produced for the US and Chinese markets, but are also popular in Estonia. The motherboard is not compatible with similar Ninebot Max copies! The original controller differs from the copies in that the original DRV software can be automatically updated and, if desired, tuned (rewritten back to older version). It is also impossible to find a copy of the motherboard of a Segway electric scooter that works as soon as you plug it in. The original brain PCB part is covered with a waterproof silicone layer.
However, the biggest difference with the copies is in the electronics components and overall assembly quality. Copy control modules are often several times cheaper, but they often don't even last 100km under normal driving conditions, and soon the electric scooter has to be dismantled again and the brain replaced. Therefore, we recommend that if the controller fails on a Segway Ninebot Max series electric scooter, the controller should be replaced immediately with a new original spare part.
