NIU INTRODUCTION AND HISTORY
NIU Technologies is a manufacturer of smart and modern electric vehicles. NQI GTS
NIU NQi GTS electric mopeds are a serious rival to 125cc/125cc combustion mopeds in terms of performance. Powered by a quiet but powerful 4600W motor, the NQi GTS electric moped shines with its smooth and even acceleration. The NQi GTS electric mopeds are also packed with a variety of modern technological features that make the riding experience comfortable and enjoyable. The incredibly large 2x35Ah battery pack is capable of delivering 4200Wh of power, so it can no longer be argued that mopeds are impractical due to their range. According to the manufacturer's specification, the NQi GTS moped equipped with such a large battery pack is capable of covering up to 95km on a single charge and also has a relatively fast recharge time (7h).

NQi Sport
Compared to the NQi GTS electric moped, the NQi Sport offers a 50cc/50cc combustion engine moped to compete with. However, the NQi Sport is not just a lively and powerful electric moped, it also offers a supremely enjoyable ride and comfort. To achieve this, NIU has placed great emphasis on the quality of the moped's equipment and the ergonomics of the riding position. The NQi Sport moped is equipped with both front and rear hydraulic shock absorbers. In fact, the NQi Sport is the only NIU moped with adjustable amortas according to the rider's preferences and parameters. The moped is equipped with large 12" wheels and wide, thick pneumatic tyres for stable handling.
An electric moped should be more than just a means of getting home from work, which is why NQi Sport electric mopeds are also available with large Li-ion battery packs. With the most powerful battery pack (60V/35Ah), the NQi Sport can go up to 70km on a single charge. This makes the moped suitable for commuting around the countryside or to work in the city. The NQi Sport also features a super-strong aluminium frame construction, which, together with a powerful 1800W electric motor, is capable of carrying up to 269kg of extra weight.
With modern add-ons, the NQi Sport electric moped doesn't lag far behind its older brother. The NQi Sport mopeds also have a digital LCD screen, but despite their clear legibility and impressive size, their design is not changeable. However, the screen does provide a lot of important information and the NQi Sport also comes with 4G and GPS compatibility. MQi GT EVO
The NIU MQi GT EVO electric controllers are the most accurate in terms of performance (parameters) among NIU electric controllers. With an incredibly powerful 6500W electric motor, the NQi GTS mopeds offer strong competition for 125cc/125cc mopeds with their extremely fast acceleration. In addition to the keyless system, the MQi GT EVO electric mopeds also stand out for their long range. MQi GT EVO mopeds with the Extened Range (2x42Ah) package are capable of up to 75km and with the Standard Range (2x35Ah) package up to 65km. The MQi GT EVO moped is the highest top speed moped in the NIU range. With its powerful electric motor, the MQi GT EVO electric moped reaches a top speed of 100km/h very quickly.
NIU is known for its innovative and modern technologies. Like all NIU electric bikes and mopeds, the MQi GT EVO is 4G and GPS ready. The 4G and GPS connectivity not only allows you to locate your electric moped, but also provides you with important information about its status. A lot of important information is displayed in the mobile app as well as on the moped's digital, colour LED screen/display. Thanks to its slightly more aggressive driving position, the MQi GT EVO electric moped is easy to manoeuvre. MQi GT
Ruggedly built and with the longest range of any NIU moped, the MQi GT mopeds also feature a powerful 3100W BOSCH electric motor.
The MQi GT electric moped can handle almost anything. Thanks to its well thought-out design and performance, the moped is comfortable to drive even when two people are on board. The comfort of the passenger has also been improved with important accessories, such as lifting handles that can be used to support the passenger and also to hold him or her. With its robust construction, the MQi GT electric moped can carry up to 269kg of extra weight.
According to the manufacturer's specification, the MQi GT Extended Range (2x42Ah) is capable of covering up to 110km on two battery packs. At a slightly more affordable price, the MQi GT Standard Range (2x31Ah) can cover up to 80km. Of course, sometimes you want even more, which is why NIU has equipped the MQi GT mopeds with a powerful battery charger. The NQi GT Standard Range needs just 4.5h to charge from 0-100% and the NQi GT Extended Range, on the other hand, 6h. It could be argued that this is a remarkably fast charging time considering the capacity of the battery packs.
Like all other NIU electric mopeds, the NQi GT is equipped with modern technological add-ons such as a keyless entry system, 4G and GPS compatibility, and various sensors to help assess the status and position of the electric moped.
To ensure a comfortable ride, 90/90-10 pneumatic tyres are fitted to the front 10" wheel and 110/80-14 to the rear 14" wheel. Also included in the GT package are high quality hydraulic dampers both front and rear. It is in this combination that the MQi GT electric mopeds offer a pleasant ride and handling.
MQi GT electric mopeds reach the manufacturer's speed of 45km/h with great agility and are relatively fast by nature, which is why NIU MQi GT electric mopeds are also equipped with hydraulic disc brakes for safety.

MQi+ Sport
NIU MQi+ Sport electric mopeds are the lightweight of the MQi series. (72kg) and compact, but still very powerful and tough.
With their robust construction, MQi+ Sport electric mopeds can successfully handle 221kg of extra weight and 15% of climbing. There's more to its deceptive looks than meets the eye, as the MQi+ Sport electric mopeds can be used with two riders, in addition to a range of accessories. The MQi+ Sport electric mopeds are also one of the few in the NIU range with fold-out passenger footrests.
Thanks to their lightweight construction, MQi+ Sport electric mopeds with 1400W BOSCH electric motor reach a top speed of 45km/h relatively quickly. The powerful electric motor draws its energy from a powerful Li-Ion battery pack. The MQi+ Sport Standard Range (48V/31Ah) has enough current capacity to provide up to 55km of riding distance on a single charge, and up to 65km with the Extended Range (48V/42Ah) package. Compared to the MQi GT series, the MQi+ Sport electric mopeds have a slower full charge. The MQi+ Sport moped with Standard Range package takes 7h to fully charge, while the MQi+ Sport moped with Extended Range package can be fully charged in 9h.
Of course, there are no compromises on driving comfort and handling. The MQi+ Sport electric mopeds are equipped with front oil dampers and rear hydraulic dampers. For harmonious operation, the MQi+ Sport moped has a very good and precise weight distribution and weight distribution.
With thick 90/90-10 pneumatic tyres and 10" rims, MQi+ Sport electric mopeds are particularly sharp to handle.
There's no shortage of modern add-ons, either, as it comes with 4G and GPS capability, high and low beam switches, as well as a wide range of sensors that give the owner feedback on the state and position of the controller.

UQi GT
The NIU UQi GT electric mopeds are much smaller than other NIU electric mopeds, but they have plenty of power. Compared to the MQi+ Sport (72kg) moped, the UQi GT (75kg) moped is still 3kg heavier, despite being even smaller. But don't be fooled by the smaller size, as the UQi GT is powerful enough with a powerful electric motor to carry up to two riders. The UQi GT electric mopeds won't buckle under more weight either, capable of propelling up to 227kg of extra weight.
The NIU UQi GT competes mainly in the 50cc/50cc moped power class and, according to traffic law, requires an AM category licence to drive.
The UQi GT also leads the way on 13% hill climbs. And with its 1500W electric motor, the UQi GT is capable of reaching the manufacturer's speed of 45km/h with relative ease.
UQi GT electric mopeds are available in two different versions, Standard Range (48V / 31Ah) or Extended Range (48V / 42Ah). With the Standard Range package, the electric moped covers up to 50km on a single charge and with the Extended Range package up to 60km. The Standard Rage UQi GT needs 7h for a 0-100% full charge and the Extended Range 9h.
UQi GT electric mopeds, like all other NIU electric mopeds and electric bikes, are 4G and GPS compatible. In addition to 4G and GPS compatibility, the mopeds are electronically lockable. Also, all NIU electric mopeds have an old and good steering lock.

UQi
The NIU UQi Sport electric scooters are the smallest and lightest of the NIU electric scooters, yet they are still very bright and very tough. The UQi Sport also stands out from the rest in that it has a top speed of 25km/h. The UQi Sport is the smallest and lightest of the scooters. In addition, the UQi Sport is distinguished from other NIU electric scooters by the fact that it belongs to the category of mini scooters and is also allowed to be ridden on the road, on cycle paths and in cycle lanes, according to traffic law. In accordance with the Road Traffic Act, a person of at least 14 years of age may drive a mini-moped. Drivers of 14 and 15 year olds must have a licence to ride a bicycle.
The UQi Sport electric scooters are packed with modern features and are easy to manoeuvre thanks to their light and compact design. Large 14" inch wheels made of aluminium contribute to manoeuvrability and stable handling. The wheels are fitted with wide and thick 90/90-14 (front) and 100/80-14 (rear) pneumatic tyres.
Powered by a 1500W peak power BOSCH electric motor, the lightweight (58kg) UQi Sport electric scooter moves forward with great agility. It takes just a few seconds to reach a top speed of 25km/h. Thanks to its own powerful and robust electric motor, combined with a sturdy frame construction, the scooter can also handle an extra 147kg.
However, the electric moped still has all the good and better, such as hydraulic disc brakes, oil mounts front and rear, keyless start, 4G and GPS compatibility and a large, removable Li-ion battery pack. With a fast-charging Li-ion battery pack, the UQi Sport electric scooter can travel up to 40km on a single rider, according to factory specifications. Thanks to the powerful charger, it takes just 3.5h to fully charge the battery pack, making the UQi Sport the fastest charging electric scooter compared to all other NIU electric scooters.

On a single charge, the EUB-01 Pro is capable of covering up to 75km using only the hub motor, according to the manufacturer's specifications. NIU KQi3 Pro
The successor to the KQi3 Max, the KQi3 Pro, is a little less powerful but more affordable. KQi3 Pro models are also available in black and gold. Like all other NIU electric scooters, the KQi3 Pro has an HD-LED screen/display with a particularly retro user interface.
KQi3 Pro contains many good features. For example, the KQi3 Pro electric scooters have mechanical disc brakes both front and rear and a very wide and long stand/stand deck compared to other electric scooters for normal users.
The KQi3 Pro stands out for its compactness and easy-to-use folding mechanism. The KQi3 Pro's folding mechanism is also extremely easy to adjust, making it quick and easy to remove any loose lens over time.

NIU KQi3 Sport
KQi3 Sport electric scooters are the lightest of the KQi3 range (18.4kg). Thanks to its light weight, the KQi3 Sport also requires less power to move briskly forward.
In terms of construction and design, the KQi3 Sport electric scooters are relatively similar to their more powerful siblings, the KQi3 Max and KQi3 Pro, and are available in a wide range of colours. The KQi3 Sport differs in that it only has a first mechanical disc brake. Like all other NIU electric scooters, the KQi3 Sport electric scooter has a KERS system intensity configurable via the app. The KERS (regenerative braking) system is activated just when the throttle is released and is extremely useful for slowing down.
With a slightly less powerful 600W electric motor, the KQi3 Sport electric scooter doesn't give up easily. The sturdy construction and electric motor power of the KQi3 series combine to ensure a high 100kg weight limit.
Thanks to its lightness, the KQi3 Sport is also the easiest scooter to manoeuvre and transport, making the KQi3 Sport particularly practical when you need to carry the scooter up and down stairs on a daily basis. Large and wide 9.5" tubeless / tubeless pneumatic tyres are also fitted on the KQi3 Sport electric scooter, so there is no significant difference in manoeuvrability between the KQi3 models.
Like all other NIU electric scooters, the KQi3 Sport is an electric scooter with a powerful NIU iconic HALO headlight. The headlamp is on all the time and can be activated at maximum power if required, providing an even wider and more extensive beam.

NIU KQi2 Pro
The KQi2 Pro electric scooters are much more affordable compared to the KQi3 electric scooters, and are best suited for regular users looking for an electric scooter with a good range of travel and low maintenance. The KQi2 Pro is also available in a range of colours and is very light (18.4kg) due to its construction.
In terms of handling, the KQi2 Pro electric scooter is stable and precise. With stable and comfortable handling, the KQi2 Pro electric scooters are equipped with 10x2.3" tubeless tires instead of 9.5" tubeless / tubeless pneumatic tires. This maintains a nice spin and exceptional manoeuvrability.
Despite being significantly cheaper, the KQi2 Pro is packed with a variety of modern extras. For example, the KQi2 Pro also has a TFT-LCD screen with a user interface design that looks like something from a good old Nintendo games console.
On the performance side, the KQi2 Pro electric scooter is not very far behind. With a 600W electric motor and a generous 365Wh Li-Ion battery pack, the electric scooter is capable of going up to 40km, according to factory specifications.
Like the KQi3 Sport, the KQi2 Pro is also equipped with a front drum brake and regenerative braking (KERS). The drum brake is very durable by design, which makes the KQi2 Pro and KQi3 Sport electric scooters somewhat less troublesome than electric scooters with disc brakes.
The KQi2 Pro electric scooters are probably best suited for those who are looking for an electric scooter that is very affordable, easy to handle and requires less maintenance.
