The helmet for electric scooters with LED lights is available in black and in two different sizes - L (large), M (medium). The helmet is probably the most important accessory for an electric scooter, as it is the most important thing for the safety and health of the rider.
In an urban environment, the potential hazards are many and the risk of falling or having an accident is very high. Even with the best will in the world, it may not be possible for an electric scooter rider to prevent every fall or accident. For example, some electric scooters have potentially quite dangerous technical design faults which can occur completely unannounced and are likely to result in a fall - the electric scooter folding mechanism/clamp breaks, the throttle does not return to its initial position when released, the brake link fails to engage and the scooter brakes abruptly, the electric scooter brakes abruptly at high speed due to a controller failure, etc. Therefore, a helmet should always be worn to be prepared for the unexpected. According to the law amending the Road Traffic Act adopted on 28.10.2020, riders of light motorcycles under the age of 16 must always wear a helmet, whether they are renting (long-term or ride-sharing) or using an electric scooter for private use.
Helmet fit
When choosing a helmet, it is also very important that it fits well, is comfortable and does not pinch. Comfort also means safety - in the event of a collision with a source of danger, the energy of the impact is distributed evenly over the surface of the helmet, rather than being transmitted unevenly to the rider through the area of the helmet that is most resistant to the head at the moment. We therefore recommend that, wherever possible, you do not buy a helmet blindly and come to our shop at Tööstuse 47a, try on different helmets and choose the right one for you before you buy.
