As the small size and air capacity of electric scooter tyres are conducive to the internal tyres rupturing under impact, we recommend checking the tyre pressure every 2 weeks, or before each ride if the electric scooter is ridden less frequently. When inflating the tyres, we strongly recommend the use of pressure gauge pumps to ensure the exact tyre pressure recommended by the electric scooter manufacturer. We also recommend thick-patterned tyres for all daily urban riders, as the thickness of the tyre will also significantly help to prevent the possibility of punctures caused by a few splinters or nails.
