The Bluetran Lightning PRO EU electric scooter by Minimotors is an extremely powerful model that also boasts excellent suspension and a large battery capacity. The Bluetran Lightning PRO EU is equipped with an incredibly large and powerful 72V/30Ah, 2160Wh battery containing high-quality LG 21700 battery modules.

The Bluetran Lightning PRO electric scooter features ZOOM hydraulic disc brakes, which provide a much smoother feel compared to mechanical brakes. The brake pads also wear more evenly and require less frequent replacement, making the electric scooter less maintenance-intensive. There is also a significant difference in the braking distance, which, combined with the wide 10×3.00″ air tires, makes the Bluetran Lightning PRO very safe.
Additional safety features include ABS magnetic brakes, which activate before the disc brakes and allow for battery recharging during braking (KERS). On ECO mode, it is possible to travel up to 150km on a single charge with the 35Ah battery. MINIMOTORS BLUETRAN LIGHTNING PRO EU ELECTRIC SCOOTER – TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
As the creator of the Bluetran brand, Minimotors is the oldest company involved in the development and production of electric scooters. Originating from South Korea, Minimotors started developing electric light mobility technologies in 1999, and by 2015, they became the first to invent and market the Dualtron electric scooter with both front and rear motors. The Bluetran Lightning PRO electric scooter is equipped with dual top-power 500W brushless DC (BLDC) motors, both front and rear.
In addition to being powered by strong motors, a significant emphasis has been placed on comfort. The Bluetran Lightning PRO EU electric scooter is equipped with four air spring shock absorbers, both in front and at the back. The ride is also made more comfortable by the previously mentioned exceptionally soft 10×3.00″ air tires. Like all new generation Minimotors electric scooters, the Minimotors Bluetran Lightning PRO EU also features a shock absorber installed at the lower part of the handlebar tube (vertical boom) to reduce vibration transmitted to the hands and a handlebar with foldable grips. Minimotors’ folding handlebar solution is undoubtedly the most durable on the market, as the clamping brackets are adjustable in stiffness without tools and do not develop play over time due to material fatigue. The Bluetran Lightning PRO electric scooter by Minimotors can achieve the manufacturer’s speed of 25 km/h virtually instantly—in just a few seconds, according to the law. The Bluetran Lightning PRO is also capable of handling heavier weights, with a manufacturer-specified rider weight limit of up to 120 kg. The electric scooter can climb hills with inclines of up to 30 degrees. It takes 26 hours to fully charge the battery of the Minimotors Bluetran Lightning PRO using the charger included with the scooter. However, there’s no need to worry, as Minimotors engineers have already addressed this issue; using a fast charger, the electric scooter can be fully charged in just 7 hours.
LIGHTING AND SAFETY
Like all Minimotors electric scooters, the Bluetran Lightning PRO is equipped with front and rear lights that illuminate the road surface nearby and help ensure visibility during the dark hours. However, for lighting the road further ahead, an additional light is necessary. All new generation Dualtron electric scooters come equipped with hazard lights. The performance of the Minimotors Bluetran Lightning PRO electric scooter is more akin to a motorcycle than an electric scooter—it is strongly recommended to wear a helmet and protective clothing such as pants and jackets with integrated protectors (motorcycle gear). For riders under 16 years old, wearing a helmet while riding an electric scooter is legally mandatory.
