SPEEDWAY LEGER ELECTRIC SCOOTER – PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Speedway Leger electric scooter comes from the Minimotors Speedway series, which includes the lightest and most compact electric scooters suitable for everyday users. Thus, the Leger model ranks just below the Dualtron Mini in the lineup, but in reality, it is a comparable electric scooter with slightly different features. Similar to the Dualtron Mini, the Leger also belongs to the “ultra-compact electric scooters” class, and thanks to its foldable handlebars, it is actually more compact than the Mini. The Speedway Leger has a somewhat more conventional design, which does not draw as much attention in urban settings as the RGB-lit Mini certainly does. In the scooter world, the Speedway Leger electric scooter is available with a 48V/15.6Ah battery. The battery capacity is 749Wh and it can travel up to 55km on a single charge. The realistic travel distance ranges from 35-45km, taking into account braking and acceleration, and assuming a rider weight over 65kg.
The Leger is also a full 3kg lighter than the Mini, weighing only 19kg – the same as the extremely popular Ninebot Max G30E. Compared to other smaller electric scooters, the Speedway Leger is equipped with a rear angled footrest similar to the larger Dualtron models, allowing for multiple comfortable riding positions. Adequate comfort in urban environments is provided by 8.5×2.0″ inner tube air tires and shock absorbers. Safe stopping is ensured by a rear drum brake, which is the most maintenance-free type of brake and does not require constant adjustment like disc brakes. Equipped with a 1000W brushless DC motor, the Speedway Leger electric scooter is also fast, reaching speeds of 25km/h on roads.
SPEEDWAY LEGER ELECTRIC SCOOTER – STYLISH AND COMPACT
Minimotors is one of the oldest companies in the world involved in the development and production of small/light electric mobility devices. Having started development in 1999 and possessing a technological advantage over its competitors at the beginning of the electric light mobility revolution, Minimotors has become the best-known electric scooter brand in the world. The Speedway series of electric scooters was created based on the extremely popular Dualtron electric scooters. The Speedway models are designed to compete with the most popular small electric scooter manufacturers such as Inokim and Segway Ninebot.
The folding mechanism of the Speedway Leger electric scooter is one of the strongest constructions of this type available. Also, folding the electric scooter takes very little time and is not cumbersome, even if you need to carry it up the stairs every day. The Seedway Leger electric scooter is also equipped with a kinetic energy recovery system (KERS). This system charges the battery when the rider uses the electric magnetic brake for braking. Like all other modern Minimotors electric scooters, the Leger features an EY3 (EYE) LCD display. This display ensures that the rider is aware of all necessary information at all times. The EY3 screen is also highly appreciated for its quick throttle response.
MINIMOTORS SPEEDWAY ELECTRIC SCOOTER – PERFORMANCE
According to the law, the manufacturer speed of an electric scooter straight out of the box is 25 km/h. The Speedway Leger electric scooter (carrying up to 100 kg) reaches this speed in just a few seconds. It takes about 7-8 hours to fully charge the battery from 0-100% using the charger included in the scooter’s box.
The Speedway Leger electric scooter also features a completely new lighting system that helps ensure safety and predictability in fast-moving urban traffic. The front of the electric scooter is equipped with a large LED light, which helps illuminate the road and also ensures the visibility of the rider during the darkest hours of November. The Speedway Leger is designed for urban commuting and is equipped with brake lights and tail lights. Wearing a helmet while riding the electric scooter is strongly recommended. For riders under 16 years old, wearing a helmet is legally mandatory while riding an electric scooter. All Minimotors Speedway electric scooters can be found here.
The Minimotors Speedway Leger electric scooter is street-legal in Estonia under the traffic law, with a manufacturer power of 1000W and a manufacturer speed of 25 km/h. Note: If the user has independently modified the electric scooter to be faster or more powerful than the above-stated parameters, Scooter World is not responsible for any fines due to legal violations, police confiscation of the electric scooter, or other types of damage caused by violations.
