The Velt Smart Scooter Pro (formerly known as X8 Pro) is a comfortable, lightweight, compact, capable, and durable electric scooter for everyday use. Due to its 10″ wide air tires, the Velt Smart electric scooter is undoubtedly the most comfortable, lightest, and most stable vehicle in its price range. Thanks to its high base and large tires, the Velt Smart Scooter is comfortable to ride on poor and potholed roads and to overcome curbs. A capable battery ensures strong progress even when going uphill. In addition, the battery of the Velt Smart Scooter series electric scooters is quickly removable – it can be charged externally, separate from the scooter, or quickly swapped for another charged battery to continue the ride. All this and more fits into one compact, foldable, and only 17kg weighing electric scooter.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION
The Velt Smart Scooter Pro electric scooter features a strong aluminum frame and a compact handlebar with comfortable grips. The grips are removable to allow for especially compact storage. A powerful 400W brushless (BLDC) electric motor provides lively acceleration and quickly reaches the manufacturer’s speed of 25km/h, even when carrying heavier loads. Depending on the riding style and rider’s weight, a single charge can cover about 45-55km. The electric scooter also has a cruise control feature, along with three electronic gears for riding next to pedestrians, for maximally economical riding, and for maximally fast riding.
The Velt Smart Scooter has a rear mechanical disc brake with a 120mm diameter rotor, which ensures quick and safe stopping. The scooter is equipped with a 48V/9.6Ah Li-ion battery, which takes about 7-8 hours to fully charge. For visibility during dark times and to make oneself more visible to other road users, the scooter has both front and rear LED lights. The central LCD display on the handlebar of the Velt Smart Scooter Pro shows the speed, battery charge level, and gear. To turn the Velt Smart electric scooter on or off, hold down the button on the throttle.
When the scooter is turned on, to toggle the lights on and off, press the button twice; to switch between economy and sport modes, press the button once. We always recommend wearing a helmet when riding the electric scooter. For riders under 16, wearing a helmet while riding an electric scooter is legally mandatory. There are also two other versions of the Velt Smart Scooter with smaller batteries but similar features: the Velt Smart X7 and Velt Smart Eco.
