Xiaomi Mi Electric Scooter 3 is a new addition to Xiaomi’s scooter lineup, positioned between the 1S and Pro 2 models. This often resulted in uneven wear on the brake pads, requiring adjustment of both the brake cable tension and the position of the second brake pad closer to the brake disc during maintenance. With the new system, the brake pads wear evenly, and adjusting the brake cable tension is sufficient.
A touch of color has also been added to the brake calipers and brake supports. The white electric scooter comes equipped with red calipers and supports, while the black electric scooter has been given blue calipers and brake supports. The Xiaomi Mi Electric Scooter 3 has also received a new BMS (Battery Management System). It now has even more safety features for added protection: low voltage protection, double protection against overcharging, overheating protection, anti-undercharge function, and short-circuit protection.

The new Xiaomi Mi Electric Scooter 3 is a comfortable (thanks to pneumatic tires), lightweight, highly compact, powerful, and durable electric scooter suitable for daily commuting, school, and work. The electric scooter is designed in compliance with the latest EU regulations and crafted to be sold and used in every member state. Therefore, it comes equipped with a rear fender, which in some EU member states is required to mount a license plate for vehicle registration number.
The Xiaomi Mi Electric Scooter 3 features efficient reflectors on the front wheel and rear wheel covers for enhanced visibility. Additionally, Xiaomi electric scooters feature regenerative braking (KERS) even when coasting freely without pressing the brake lever. The intensity of the automatic motor braking can be adjusted by each rider through the Xiaomi Mi app according to their preferences.
The Xiaomi Mi Electric Scooter 3 is equipped with an innovative E-ABS system that prevents the motor from locking up and slipping when braking with the electric motor. This feature is particularly useful in Nordic countries where electric scooters are often used in autumn and winter. PERFORMANCE AND RANGE
The Xiaomi electric scooter is constructed with a sturdy frame made from aerospace-grade aluminum alloy and features a compact handlebar with comfortable grips. The brushless BLDC electric motor has a rated power of 300W (peak power of 600W). This motor provides brisk acceleration and enables the electric scooter to achieve a manufacturer-rated speed of 25km/h according to Estonian traffic regulations, even when climbing hills. With a fully charged battery, it can travel up to 30km depending on the riding style and rider weight.
The waterproof rating for the Mi 3 model is IP54. The electric scooter is equipped with three different speed modes, suitable for riding alongside pedestrians as well as for faster rides. It features a 36V/7650mAh (275Wh) lithium-ion (Li-Ion) battery made from high-quality LG modules. Charging the battery from 0% to 100% takes approximately 8.5 hours. For visibility during dark times and to make oneself more visible to other road users, the electric scooter is equipped with both front and rear LED lights. SAFETY
Once the electric scooter is turned on, to toggle the lights on/off, you need to press the button once. To switch between eco and sport modes, press the button twice quickly. Since electric scooters are fast electric vehicles, accidents and potential dangers with other road users are possible. Therefore, it is always recommended to wear a helmet when riding an electric scooter. For riders under 16 years old, wearing a helmet while riding an electric scooter is mandatory according to traffic regulations.
