Long-term rentals of electric motorbikes, electric bicycles and electric scooters are primarily intended for people who wish to rent an electric vehicle/scooter for several hours or more. Electric scooters, electric bicycles and electric motorbikes can be taken with you within Estonia. Renting an electric scooter is also the best choice for those who want to book a larger number of electric scooters for a company event or other event. Electric scooter rental is suitable for those who are looking for something more – for example, exploring Estonia’s beautiful landscapes noise-free on a Sur-Ron electric dirtbike!

A quick background check on the person, which usually takes up to 5 minutes (described in more detail below).
Fill in the rental contract and pay a deposit of 100-500€ (payable on the spot in cash or by bank transfer).

Renting an electric scooter is a great way to test out a new and interesting way of getting around before buying your own personal device, or just to spend an afternoon cruising around the city. If you’re planning on getting an electric scooter but still want to test it to make sure it can go up the hills in your area or cover the distance you want to, renting an electric scooter is the best way to try it out. Renting an electric scooter is also a great way to spend a fun day out with friends and explore Tallinn. Next to our shop at Tööstuse 47a you’ll find the wonderful Noblessner harbour, a little further away you’ll find Kalarand and the city centre. Electric motorbike rental – for example, with a Sur-Ron electric motorbike, you can whizz through the woods noise-free!
What kind of electric scooters / electric motorbikes/ electric bikes do we rent?
We have chosen comfortable electric scooters with large wheels and pneumatic tyres. From the brands we have chosen only the most durable and high quality – Inokim, Kugoo KuKirin, Segway Ninebot and Xiaomi Mi. When you rent an electric scooter, you’ll also get a battery charger, so when the battery runs out, you can get back on the road after a few hours of charging. We also provide a secure electric scooter lock, so you can leave your electric scooter out in the yard when you go to the shop or to work.
The Segway Ninebot Max G30 electric scooters form the core of our long term electric scooter rent, and we can also provide larger quantities (10+) for larger events with prior booking. Xiaomi, Kugoo and Inokim electric scooters are available in our stock of about 2-5 of each model.
Other electric vehicles are also available. For example, one of the most sought-after electric dirtbikes, the SUR-RON Light Bee X (L1E, street legal, registered as an electric moped), is available for hire. Also available for hire is the equivalent Talaria Sting R MX3 (TL3000 MX) (electric moped, street-legal) and, for the more adventurous, the SUR-RON Ultra Bee (off-road as well as street-legal). A slightly smaller version compared to the Light Bee and the Talaria TL3000, the Talaria XXX (TL2500) 2025 (also electric moped, street legal) is still available for hire.

According to the amendment to the Traffic Act adopted by the Riigikogu on 28.10.2020, from 1.01.2021 it will no longer be allowed to drive faster than 25km/h with a light motorcycle (electric scooter, electric scooter, unicycle) in the Republic of Estonia. Therefore, the speeds of all our electric scooters for hire are also limited to 25 km/hour. Also, the maximum power of any electric scooter motor does not exceed one kilowatt (1kW / 1000W).
When planning a ride, pleasenote that the actual distance travelled on a single charge depends largely on the rider’s weight and riding style. The distances are based on a rider weighing 70kg and with a smooth driving style.
NOTE: To rent a registered electric vehicle on public roads, the renter must have a driving licence for the relevant category (must be taken with them!).

Electric scooter/vehicle rental conditions:
- The device and its charger or other accessories must be returned at the end of the rental period in the same technical and cosmetic condition in which the device was rented.
- Any damage or repair costs incurred to the equipment during the rental period shall be reimbursed by the renter.
- In the event of theft or loss of the equipment, the cost of the equipment must be reimbursed to the lessor at retail price.
- At the end of the rental period, the deposit shall be returned in full when the equipment is returned in its original condition.
- The renter must present an identity document (ID card, driving licence, passport, residence permit).
- A deposit of not less than €100 must be paid by the lessee before the rental period starts and will be returned at the end of the rental period.
- If the equipment is not returned within the period stipulated in the rental contract, the lessor has the right to charge a rental fee for each day overdue (contractual penalty – € 50 per day).
- In order to extend the rental period, the lessee must physically come to the shop of the Nordic Walking World with the rented electric scooter / electric motorbike and pay the rental fee for the extended rental period. The rental of the electric scooter or electric motorbike will continue after the new contract has been signed.
- The renter of the electric scooter agrees to behave in a responsible manner with the rented equipment and to immediately report any breakage, loss, theft or other damage to the equipment.
- The hirer of an electric scooter shall allow the equipment to be ridden in accordance with the Highway Code. Any person under 16 years of age who is a light cyclist must wear a helmet when riding an electric scooter.
- When renting a registered electric scooter, the renter must have a driving licence for the corresponding vehicle category.

Theft protection – Who do we rent to? – GPS tracking system
Renting an electric scooter is taking on serious liability. For this reason, Tõuksimaailm rents out electric scooters under the standard conditions listed above to all persons who pass our background check. In order to undergo a background check, you will need to come to one of our branches and present your identity document to a customer service representative. The process takes approximately 5 minutes.
Is electric scooter/vehicle/bike rental still for me? There is probably cause for concern if:
- You have ever had a criminal conviction for any reason.
- You do not have a current valid form of identification accepted by the Nordic Bike World – ID card, driving licence, passport or residence permit.
- You do not have a passport, identity card, driving licence, driving licence, identity card, identity card or driving licence
- you have been declared bankrupt as a natural person
- you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- You are in doubt about the amount of the deposit
- You ask dubious questions (e.g. “what happens if I can’t get it back on time?”, etc.).
- You have been late in returning your electricity bill to the World of Goods in the past.
The World of Bikes reserves the right not to inform the person of the reason for not passing the background check.
However, in the case of a failed background check, renting an electric scooter is still possible – the full retail price of the electric scooter you wish to rent must be paid as a deposit (e.g. Ninebot Max G30 – 699€).
Other special conditions
- The rental service is for the use of electric scooters/electric motorbikes/electric bicycles within Estonia only, but under special conditions (with a higher deposit) it is also possible to take electric scooters abroad by agreement.
- We offer electric scooter rental without a deposit to reliable companies and institutions in the Republic of Estonia with a clean background, at least a few years of history and no tax or private debts.
The renter of electric scooters/electric motorbikes/electric bicycles must take into account that all of our electric scooters/electric motorbikes/electric bicycles for rent are equipped with GPS tracking system and automatic shut-off/ride blocking system installed and developed by the specialists of Tõuksimaailma workshop. At the end of the rental period, the system will be triggered regardless of the GPS signal, the electric scooter will beep and cannot be ridden until it is reactivated by us. The purpose of this is to ensure that the rented scooter/electric bike/electric tricycle cannot be sold in case of misappropriation. An attempt to remove the automatic rental period metering controller from the electric scooter will trigger a secondary system which will short-circuit the internal electronics of the electric scooter – rendering the battery of the electric scooter/electric vehicle unusable. The system also sends an emergency call via GPS. In this scenario, the renter will have to reimburse the cost of a new electric scooter/electric vehicle battery to the Carrying World at retail price (e.g. Ninebot Max G30 battery – 399€).
